Week 38 -- Waxing Gibbous

Seen from my room in Uppsala, I couldn't resist taking a photo of the moon. Sadly, a bit too much mist was in the air and I couldn't get the sharpness I would want too, but I like it anyhow.

Week 36/37

I have been moving these 2 weeks and have had a bit of vacation. Therefore, no blogposts. I am hoping to get going again next week, and see how it fits with the studies.

Week 35 - Tür

Some everyday items are left alone until nature starts to form them. Old instustrial area ports are overrepresented among those items, at least here in Germany.

This one is captured in Sarstedt, near Hannover, Germany.

Week 34 - Flamingo Sundial

Hannover Zoo is a must to visit if you hang around close to the city for a longer time. It has wonderful sceneries made to look like the natural habitats of the animals. The most interesting animals there are definitly the different kind of monkeys, but the variety they have in birds is amazing too. And of course, while talking about birds, one makes the most fun to photograph.

And, of course, their feet (or foot in this case).

Week 33 - Youth of today

Schloss Marienburg, Germany. While waiting for the guided tour to start, some of the kids sat down on a bench, resting their tired legs after the 200 m walk from the parking space.

I let the picture talk for itself.

Week 32 - Imse Vimse Spindel

Here in Lower Saxony, Germany, 2010 is a spider year. Everywhere on houses you can see spider webs in the morning. They show up faster than it is possible to clean them away. Luckily, the spiders are mostly outside. With mostly, I mean that they sometimes manage to sneak in. If a strategically placed web inside is combined with a house in the neighbourhood of a stable, the result will be the following: a fat (and happy) spider!

Week 31 - Duderstadt

So, after a long, unplanned (and unwanted) vacation from this blog, I decided to try to give it a new go.

I have now spent almost half a year in Germany as an exchange student, but a lot of things to calculate makes it hard to take time for photographing. But there is one occation when you really get time, and that is when ones family shows up and say that "we want to see some nice views around here". This weeks (or make it this half a years) photo is from the little town Duderstadt, Lower Saxony, Germany. A town known for its old city centre with a lot of old houses.

These houses are, no matter how nice they look, not the target for my photo this week. The target is rather the roof of a normal house.
